Silverlode was engaged by a leading national research university to conduct an economic impact study of the university’s economic and fiscal impact. Silverlode used IMPLAN to estimate the impacts associated with the university’s operating, research, and construction activities, as well as those associated with student and visitor spending. The analyses captured the economic impact on national, state, and local levels. The university’s contributions to medicine, community health, education, technology transfer, and other areas were also captured.
