The Ohio Department of Development recently announced the 2023/2024 application window for the Ohio Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program. The program awards grants for the demolition of blighted, vacant, or abandoned commercial and residential buildings that are not brownfields.
$150 million is available statewide and awards will be made on a first come, first served basis. The application period is October 31 through April 1. Organizations need to apply through designated Lead Entities. However, based on the high level of interest, we expect many Lead Entities to apply to ODOD early in the application window, so interested organizations should plan to apply early.
