Silverlode obtained $1 million in Ohio Third Frontier grant funding and other economic incentives for the commercialization of a family of new medical devices.
Opportunity:
A privately held medical device manufacturer was working to commercialize a suite of new product offerings – an endeavor which required significant capital investment, job creation, and R&D investment. The client engaged Silverlode to identify and secure appropriate incentives to enable the client to commercialize the family of new devices and introduce them into the marketplace.
Solution:
Silverlode identified, negotiated, and secured local and state incentives and grants to facilitate the launch of the new technology. Ours was the top-ranked application in the competitive process for the Ohio Third Frontier program, and our client was awarded a $1 million grant. Silverlode also procured Ohio Job Creation Tax Credit assistance, a local job grant, and discretionary and training grants from the State of Ohio. The value of the total package was $3 million. Silverlode also managed the incentives compliance for the client.
