Silverlode serves as the economic development representative for communities without dedicated resources.
The Village of Cuyahoga Heights is a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. The village has approximately 600 residents and a substantial industrial base. Since 2005, Silverlode has served as the economic development representative for the village.
As the economic development department for the village, Silverlode functions as an integral part of the community's staff. We develop and implement business attraction and retention strategies and policies, identify target markets, design and implement marketing strategies, manage development projects, and measure and communicate outcomes. We are also for responsible securing state, county, and federal resources to advance community development opportunities.
Silverlode has helped the community to retain and attract many companies, redevelop sites, and secure 18 grants totaling over $3.6 million. The Village recently received a Team NEO Business Retention award to acknowledge their success.
