The University of Kansas Health System and the Kansas University Medical Center use Silverlode’s impact study to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
Together, The University of Kansas Health System and the Kansas University Medical Center serve as the only academic medical center in Kansas. Silverlode estimated the fiscal and economic impacts of the two organizations on the economies of Kansas, Missouri, and several regions and counties where they operate. The report includes 32 customized IMPLAN analyses and a comprehensive analysis of the impacts of capital projects by region and organization.
The economic impact reports for the health system and the medical center are used to foster collaboration among partners, communicate effectively with state and civic leaders, engage community groups, and support economic development efforts.
