Baystate Health

Baystate Health, the largest health care organization in western Massachusetts, engaged Silverlode multiple times to estimate the system’s economic and fiscal impacts. Baystate uses Silverlode's economic impact study to help communicate the impact of the health system to the community, employees, government entities, and other stakeholders.

Silverlode estimated the impact of Baystate’s operations and construction activities on the State, region, counties, and several cities. Silverlode estimated both system-wide impacts and individual hospital impacts. More than 30 members of Baystate’s leadership team were engaged to help shape the most recent report. Numerous GIS maps were included in the deliverable to illustrate the geographic breadth of Baystate’s facilities, jobs, patients, purchasing, and economic impact.
