Economic Impact Studies, Economic Development Services
The Alliance, which was undergoing organizational transition, hired Silverlode to create a Strategic Economic Development Analysis of Fairfield County which analyzed the County’s competitive position from a site selection perspective and identified ways to increase the County’s economic base.
Silverlode conducted a detailed review of the Alliance’s initiatives to date, a location factor assessment, a target market analysis, an analysis of workforce and commuter populations, deep stakeholder engagement including focus groups and individual interview, and SWOT analysis to develop detailed recommendations for retaining and attracting investment and developing workforce along a critical transportation corridor in this rural community.
The client established working groups to implement our 15 recommendations (with over 150 specific action steps).
