Energize-ECI is a nine-county regional economic development organization that represents East Central Indiana. ECI was preparing for a business recruitment trip to southern California, but lacked the ability to identify and screen prospective target companies. ECI engaged Silverlode to refine their target industries, identify and prioritize prospects, and provide lead generation services for their business recruitment trip.
Silverlode started with a list of 300 southern California companies and applied geographic, size, and industry sector filters to identify 25 optimal targets. We then identified factors that indicated which of these companies may have an upcoming location decision. Silverlode successfully secured meetings with decision makers at five of the qualified leads in ECI's target industry sectors. The prospect companies included a Fortune 400 food-processing firm, a Fortune 500 technology/advanced manufacturing firm, two global diversified manufacturers, and a medical device manufacturer. Silverlode also helped ECI to refine their value proposition and marketing materials to prepare for their business recruitment trip. The trip led to active projects with the qualified leads.
