Texas Medical Center was planning to construct TMC3, a proposed research complex to foster academic and industry partnership on 37 acres. Silverlode estimated the economic impacts of the ongoing operations and construction impacts associated with investment in infrastructure, building, and land improvements for the initial phases of the project. The potential impacts of TMC3 on property values and on public transportation in the Greater Houston area were also analyzed. Since the impact study was conducted, the project has expanded and has engaged new commercial partners.
