A privately owned, global technology company was undergoing change and needed to expand its headquarters capacity and consolidate manufacturing facilities. The client engaged Silverlode to provide site selection and incentives negotiation services for the headquarters and manufacturing projects.

The client needed to determine which of its locations in the southeastern U.S. was optimal for adding additional capacity for headquarters functions. Silverlode conducted a location analysis and helped the client with its critical decision making process. Silverlode secured significant incentives for the 150,000 square foot, $20 million expansion which created more than 100 new jobs.

To facilitate the consolidation of manufacturing facilities, Silverlode helped the client with the disposition of an obsolete facility with environmental issues. Silverlode identified and secured grant funding and facilitated the remediation and acquisition of the facility by a local economic development organization. Silverlode helped to structure a complex package of valuable state and local tax and financial incentives.
