The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) wanted to improve county responses to site selectors. Silverlode created and submitted a hypothetical site selection scenario based on an actual Silverlode project. Silverlode evaluated the responses, conducted site visits with finalist locations, benchmarked responses against responses for similar projects in competitive states, and evaluated the processes of MEDC as an umbrella organization.
Silverlode prepared individual reports for each county. A few months after this project was completed, Silverlode submitted an actual RFI to several project participants and found numerous recommendations had already been implemented.
